Potere al Popolo – Paesi Bassi vi invita a partecipare alla
presentazione-dibattito del libro di Francesco Piobbichi “Disegni dalla frontiera”. Si parlerà di frontiere, di neocolonialismo, delle divisioni che produce e delle forme di resistenza che ne derivano.
La narrazione attraverso i disegni permette una comunicazione diversa, attiva una forma di partecipazione emotiva, un sentire comune. Una presa di coscienza necessaria per contrastare attivamente la barbarie dei nostri tempi. Il racconto disegnato costruisce un terreno emozionale che porta a riflettere rispetto ai nuovi processi neocoloniali ed all’espansione della frontiera.

La presentazione sarà in italiano con traduzione in olandese (un
sommario in inglese verrà aggiunto se necessario). Sarà possibile
acquistare il libro durante l’evento. Le descrizioni dei disegni sono in
italiano e inglese.

Questa iniziativa sarà quindi l’occasione per un dibattito aperto a
tutti, cittadini e associazioni, per confrontarsi sulle iniziative
concrete nel campo dell’integrazione e per condividere le pratiche di
solidarietà e sostegno alle lotte dei migranti.

Bio
Francesco Piobbichi, tra i fondatori delle Brigate di Solidarietà
Attiva, membro del coordinamento nazionale di Potere al Popolo e
operatore di Mediterranean Hope, ha recentemente partecipato come volontario alle operazioni di salvataggio in mare sulla nave Proactiva Open Arms nel Mediterraneo. Lavora da anni sul tema della frontiera, sia a Lampedusa che in Libano con il progetto dei corridoi umanitari. È un
disegnatore sociale che pratica il racconto delle esperienze vissute.

“Disegnare vuol dire entrare dentro sé stessi, una volta che riesci a
illustrare quello che ti attraversa, quell’immagine diventa una chiave
di una porta di un racconto che attraversa le frontiere. Un racconto
necessario di storie altrimenti consegnate all’oblio del mare. I disegni dalla frontiera si incastrano fra loro perfettamente, potrebbero essere usati come i tarocchi per costruire un racconto della storia dell’umanità, per leggerne il suo futuro mentre racconti il presente. I miei disegni non sono curati, sono a presa diretta e non potrebbero essere altrimenti. Nascono e muoiono in poche decine di minuti, mischiano colori vivi che danno speranza con la durezza delle cose che raccontano.” (Francesco Piobbichi)

Potere al Popolo – Paesi Bassi nodigt U uit om deel te nemen aan het presentatie-debat van het boek “Disegni dalla frontiera – drawing from the border” door Francesco Piobbichi. We zullen het hebben over grenzen, neokolonialisme, de verdeeldheid die het produceert en de vormen van weerstand die eruit voortvloeien.
De vertelling door de tekeningen laat een andere communicatie toe,
activeert een vorm van emotionele participatie, een gemeenschappelijk gevoel. Een bewustzijn dat nodig is om de barbarij van onze tijd actief te bestrijden. Het getekende verhaal bouwt een emotioneel terrein op dat leidt tot reflecties over de neokoloniale processen en de uitbreiding van de grens.
De presentatie zal in het Italiaans zijn met vertaling in het Nederlands (zo nodig wordt een Engelse samenvatting toegevoegd). Het is mogelijk om
het boek tijdens het evenement te kopen. De beschrijvingen van de
tekeningen zijn in het Italiaans en Engels.

Dit initiatief zal daarom een ​​gelegenheid zijn voor een debat dat
openstaat voor iedereen, burgers en verenigingen, om concrete
initiatieven op het gebied van integratie te bespreken en de praktijken van solidariteit en steun voor de strijd van migranten te delen.

presentation-debate of the book “Disegni dalla frontiera – drawings from the border” by Francesco Piobbichi. We will talk about frontiers,
neocolonialism, the divisions it produces and the forms of resistance deriving from it.
The narration through the drawings allows a different communication, activates a form of emotional participation, a common feeling. An awareness that is necessary to actively combat the barbarism of our times. The drawn story builds up an emotional terrain leading to reflections on the neocolonial processes and the expansion of the frontier.
The presentation will be in Italian with translation into Dutch (an
English summary will be added as necessary). It will be possible to buy the book during the event. The descriptions of the drawings are in Italian and English.

This initiative will therefore be an opportunity for a debate open to
all, citizens and associations, to discuss concrete initiatives in the
field of integration and to share the practices of solidarity and
support for migrants’ struggles.

Francesco Piobbichi, een van de oprichters van de Brigate di Solidarietà Attiva (actieve solidariteitsbrigades), een lid van de nationale coördinatie van Potere al Popolo en deelnemer van Mediterranean Hope, heeft onlangs als vrijwilliger deelgenomen aan reddingsacties op de Middellandse Zee aan bord van de Proactiva Open Arms. Hij heeft jarenlang gewerkt aan het thema van de grens, zowel in Lampedusa als in Libanon met het project Corridoi Umanitari (humanitaire corridor). Francesco Piobbichi, one of the founders of the Brigate di Solidarietà Attiva (Active Solidarity Brigades), a member of the national coordination of Potere al Popolo and operator of Mediterranean Hope, recently participated as a volunteer in sea rescue operations in the Mediterranean on the Proactiva Open Arms. He has worked for years on the
theme of the border, both in Lampedusa and in Lebanon with the Corridoi Umanitari (humanitarian corridor) project. He is a social artist teling the story of its own experiences.
